Avon Ski Rental - Snowboard Rentals

I rented demo skis in Avon and BC and recently purchased skis in your Boulder store. Service has been very good in all the stores. Staff was friendly and helpful in all cases. Only feedback would be that I think you need to be able to apply 3 demo rentals to ski purchase rather than just 2. It took me 3 rentals to pick skis and there was still one more pair of skis I wanted to try as well but gets too expensive to keep trying.

We have rented from Christy for years...and do because you have a great selection and your staff is always the best.

Example from this trip:
We initially picked up our equipment from the Avon Store because we were staying next door at Chapel Square. Everyone there was very helpful and we were in and out in no time.
Tuesday when we left Beaver Creek we stopped at that store and got different skis to try for the next day....Same thing as the Avon Store...everyone was very helpful and it took no time to get us taken care of.
The next afternoon, one of the guys in our group wasn't liking his boots too well, so as we were going to dinner at the Dusty Boot, we stopped by the Avon store to see if he could try another pair. The closed sign was on the door, but someone saw him there and offered him in for help. I'm not sure who the employee was, but he stayed an extra 45 minutes to help my friend solve his "Hot Spot" issues.
Our last day (Friday February 10th) we left Avon for the drive to Vail and after parking and walking all the way to the lift, my brother realized he had left his goggles at the Condo. We just knew he was either going to have to buy a new pair or have a miserable day. I walked in to a very crowded rental office of your Vail Store and instantly someone asked if they could help...we told him our situation and he said "Follow Me". We went upstairs where he found a pair and loaned them to my brother for the day.
I would say that these instances are above and beyond but I generally have come to expect this type of service from Christy Sports.
The moral of my story...It will be a "Cold Day" before I / We rent from anyone else.

Great experience with my demo rental. Easy exchange after the first day for nearly new vokll XX 170s . I wish that you could remember what I rent so can duplicate on future trips or advise updates with same performance so I am not experimenting the first day. Thanks

I rented last weekend from your Avon location and will tell you I was truly impressed with how efficiently your staff worked together to quickly get my rental package together. I was out the door much quicker than expected and I truly appreciated that.

I have already made a point to tell the people I went snowboarding with about my positive experience.

I have always had excellent service at Christy Sports. I had exceptional service this most recent rental (weekend of Jan. 13). Your staff in Avon was friendly, knowledgeable and gave us the personal attention needed for a comfortable fit. We are returning in April and plan to rent from Christy Sports in Avon again.

I usually do not provide feedback but the staff at Christy Sports in Avon deserve to be told that I had a great experience renting from them. It was my 2 buddies and I’s first time out west to ski so obviously we are amateurs. The staff in Avon and, particularly a guy named J.D., were very helpful and knowledgeable about the type of equipment I needed to match my skill level. The equipment worked out great, everyone was friendly and easy to work with and the whole process was very easy. Would definitely recommend and rent from again.

Just want to reply that the equipment was excellent and the service was great. The guys in rental were attentive and interested in making sure we got what we wanted. The selection of demos was really nice. I described what I wanted and got a pair of volkl mantras which fit perfectly the dimensions I wanted to try. It handled the varying conditions on the mountain at a high level of performance, the only variables being my legs and conditioning. thanks christy sports
